Andris Vītoliņš is a Latvian artist (born 1975 in Liepāja). Studied and now working in Art Academy of Latvia as an Associate Professor in the painting department


Prizes: Mobility scholarship from the Boris and Ināra Teterev Foundation (2015), Award for miniature series The New Purchase, 18th International Exhibition of Miniatures, Siauliai, Lithuania (2010), Jānis Baltvilks’ award for creative achievements (2006), Special award at the Golden Appletree Contest (2005), Internet portal Delfi Award (2005), Nomination for newspaper Diena Annual Culture Award (2005), Magazine “Latvijas Architektura”, award for best debut (2004), Ministry of Culture of Republic of Latvia scholarship (2004), State Culture Capital Foundation scholarship for creative work (2003-2004), I. Zariņš Competition for Young Artists, promotion prize (2003), Ministry of Culture of Republic of Estonia, letter of acknowledgement from Urmas Paet (2003)
