Ave Vellesalu ^{Emerging artist}

Ave Vellesalu (b. 1993, Rapla) is an Estonian artist who lives and works in Tallinn. She is a graduate of the Bachelor program at the photography department of the Estonian Academy of Arts. Vellesalu has participated in several group exhibitions and web-based photo exhibitions. She is a member of a group of artists – the Umbrella Grupp. The group held an exhibition at the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia (EKKM) in November 2016 and in May 2017 opened their newest exhibition at ARS project space. Vellesalu will start studying at the Time and Space department of The Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in September 2017 and will continue her Masters program at the photography department of the Estonian Academy of Fine Arts in January 2018.
