The artist´s comment on the artwork:

“I paint monumental atmospheric landscapes, which I call still-lives. Looking at landscapes and the themes of nature, we can sense calmness. The focus lies on the sense of light depicted in the paintings – moonlight, sunrise, foggy evening, and cold midday. The depth of space, light and air vibration, and materiality is created through play with the technical potential of the materials. I create texture, which depending on the light, changes the mood of the work. I portray simplified forms of nature in delicate colors.”
