Sam Conlon ^{Emerging artist}

Artist's country of origin: Finland

Sam Conlon holds a BA from Crawford College of Art in Cork, Ireland and is now completing MA in Time & Space at Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki. Recently one of her MA work was purchased by Suomen Taideyhdisty and shortlisted for Athens Photo Festival. She has previously been awarded two residencies, one on Utö Island and one in conjunction with Alexandra Arts in Manchester, UK. This residency culminated in an exhibition and public programme about which the New York Times interviewed her and published online and print in Frieze Edition in 2016. Her work has been exhibited in London, NYC, Montreal, San Francisco, France, Finland and more.
