Through the duration of Bachelor and Master studies in Vilnius Academy of Art Juozapas Švelnys has actively took part in cultural events, solo and group exhibitions (participated and curated), organized and attended artistic workshops, have participated in artistic residencies and Erasmus+ exchange programme in Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Wroclaw (PL). Artistically important exhibitions: “Patchwork”, In collaboration with Kinga Bartniak (PL) (Vilnius Academy of Art, LT); First International Print Biennale Yerevan 2017 (ACCEA, Armenia); Group exhibition “Apartment Disorders” (Studium P, VIlnius, LT, event is part of the 1-st Worldwide Apartment and Studio Biennale; Solo exhibition “Membrana” (Part of event “Night of Culture”, Gallery 5 Mills, Vilnius Academy of Art, LT); Artist residencies: Multimedia art residence “Route Art-Rageous” (host: Wbmotion; Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Germany), years 2015, 2016; Multimedia art residence “Feinprobe Honigsüss 7” (host: Wbmotion; Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Germany).
