Agnese Aljēna is looking for ways to maintain humanity within people by slowing down in fast paced world and looking for inner authenticity. She strongly believes it would make our world a better place: we would understand and accept each other more deeply, thus leading to less violence and arrogance in society. Agnese has exhibited since 2009 in several group and two solo exhibitions. She has got several Px3 (Paris) awards, including gold for her layered series #slowliving. Currently she works on minimalism series to provoke people on feeling more with less thus protesting against consumerism that affects Mother Earth. Besides fine art photography Agnese with her fellow photographers work on project WISER portraying older generation and inviting people to start deep and real conversations within families among different generations.
