Anna Mari Liivrand (born 1993 in Keila) is currently studying installation and sculpture at the Estonian Academy of Arts. She started her studies in 2012 and has since then taken part in many workshops and spent a semester studying at the Iceland Academy of Arts. In 2014, she was awarded the Young Sculptor Prize Grand Prix. Liivrand works mainly in the field of installation where she explores the possible meanings of our everyday objects and materials. By creating a new context for a subject, she transforms our understanding of it and creates an unusual space experience.
