Brigita Kasperaite ^{Emerging artist}

Brigita Kasperaitė (b. 1991, Kaunas) lives and works in Germany and Lithuania. Her work consists of various means of expression, ranging from text, photography and video works to performative actions and installations. She has successfully completed her BA and MA studies at Vilnius Academy of Arts, interned at the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm (SE), Accademia di Belli Arti in Naples (IT), Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig (DE), amongst numerous exhibitions, The artist’s work has been presented at the art festival ars electronica 2020/21, Museum der Bildende Künste Leipzig (DE), ZKU/Berlin (DE), Sweden, Italy, Lithuania, and has been part of residencies in Berlin, Leipzig, Citè Internationale des Arts in Paris. She is co-curator of the a&o Kunsthalle gallery (Leipzig) and in the curators team of the Start.foundation residency.
