Miina Peterson

Miina Peterson (born 1991) is an Estonian artist who lives and works in Tallinn. She studied painting at Estonian Academy of Arts where she received her bachelor's degree and spent an exchange semester at Berlin University of Arts. Currently she is doing master's degree in painting department in Estonian Academy of Arts. In her artwork she works on subjects that grow from the inside out through inner conflict or necessity. Constantly analyzing herself she feels out the boundaries between balance and chaos, resulting, that both states are needed for a prosperous life. Video, installation and performance are mediums besides painting that allow some narratives to stand out better.
