Viktorija Mankevičiūtė

Viktorija Mankevičiūtė

Artist's country of origin: Lithuania

While studying at Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts, Viktorija Mankevičiūtė gained a lot of experience working with a wide range of materials: wood, metal, plastic, ceramics, silicone and textiles. As a product and graphic design, Victoria is boldly experimenting, striving for distinctiveness and creating different design objects, from small items – toys and interior parts to large objects – furniture and public spaces. V. Mankevičiūtė pays great attention to minimalism, the relationship between man and nature and does not leave even the smallest details on the sidelines. The designer tries to look at certain things from an unusual angle and get out of the comfort zone with her creations. The author believes that: “You needn’t Just create, but create so that mankind and the world might benefit from those creations.”
