A flower eye caught my eye, 2019

Akrüül lõuendil

Titled in a psychedelic poem line by Juhan Liv, the painting is based on the author's research into how special states of the brain develop, such as dreams, hallucinations, unity experiences, ghosts, and so on. As machines mimic human beings, the question arises how they see ghosts and deviate from a given normality. In the case of images and machines, the glitch comes in, a momentary error where the images are then multiplied to create a euphoric state. It is known to be the only KIWA flower painting.
