Mihkel Maripuu wrote his Master’s thesis on the subject “The nature of Post-Internet in contemporary art”. The practical part of his research was displayed as an exhibition titled “#anonymous(im)possibilitiesintheivorytower #xoxo” at Hobusepea gallery, Tallinn, in 2014. In this project, the author studied how to implement different anonymous relations in the gallery space/ white cube context. He reduced his personal artistic brush stroke to an impersonal level, so that his individual touch as a painter was almost invisible.
