Habits Guide "STICK", 2020

10 x 50 cm

Visuals- SolidWorks and KeyShot

Properly formed habits improve person’s productivity, mood and quality of life. Positive personal changes bring benefits not only for people themselves, but also to the environment surrounding them. My project ,,STICK” is an object created to help people form and train positive habits. I have chosen three different social fields in which my product could be helpful. Those are: a problem of animal shelters and by it I mean the fact that because of people lacking responsibility animals often end up in shelters; hygienic issues of elderly people and as a result a drastic quality decrease in their lives and as a third field I chose self-education opportunities, which in fact are always welcome in everyone’s life. These are the fields in which correctly shaped new habits could help reshape the current situation. The object “STICK” reminds its user about the daily actions needed to be done during the habit training process. This object is universal and can be used to form various habits. It also does not limit the age of the user. Each habit training card which you put into the controller has different inner components and depending on the habit, the training hours will differ. Each training program has been created based on various cognitive system research findings to reach the best results possible. Qualitatively adhering to the plan within the allotted time and following the number of repetitions required, the habit will be developed.
