Carpet “Kilpinis bulvės veidas” (EN “Looped potato face”) is one of the main part of artist art installation “Feels like home”. In this project separated object don’t have their own descriptions, every peace tells the same “Home” story. This is how it sound: What is home? The place, memories, time, inhabitants, the peaceful feeling of being secure in the here and the now. Still, artist could not say exactly, what’s the home. Artist was thinking and trying to re-create it for so long. The exhibition is about trying to live through the first home in which she grew up, the time in other homes she lived in, and this home, which she is trying to create anew. Artist uses the word “home“ to describe a frequent object which means both a real building – a place and a space, and an intangible feeling in which our souls live.
