Objects for body. Simulation of mental disorders. Claustrophobia, 2019
Mounting foam, wire, gypsum, paint.
This simulation is optically bigger from outside because of double walls. You can feel lack of oxygen, fear of being trapped. Claustrophobia is the fear of being in a small space or room and unable to escape. It can be triggered by many situations or stimuli, including elevators crowded to capacity, windowless rooms, hotel rooms with closed doors and sealed windows, small cars and even tight-necked clothing.
