Helsinki-based collector Seppo Fränti built a bold, open yet intimate collection that explores the human condition through visual art.

In 2018 Fränti donated his collection to Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma. Curated from Fränti’s collection, Mad Love turns the spotlight on new Finnish painting.

The donation comprises around 650 works by nearly a hundred artists. With a preponderance of Finnish contemporary art, it includes paintings as well as paper-based works: drawings and prints. The show Mad Love features over 200 artworks.
