MULTIVERSUM

MULTIVERSUM is a celestial fusion, where the unlimited imagination of fashion, textile and accessory students at the Estonian Academy of Arts meets with reality. Creations that seemingly come from different universes are bound together by rich colors, unearthly forms, and thousands of upcycled cardboard tubes.
In the Garden of Paradise and Abundance, these miraculous beings and visions come together – wonders of distant galaxies that joyfully reverse the tedium of the modern world. Through the images of photographer Riina Varol, MULTIVERSUM allows its guests to travel between worlds that would normally be no more than an unrealistic dream. Some of them are like hell, others are like paradise – abolishing one only leads us to creating another.

The exhibition will be open in the atrium of Viru Keskus from February 18 – 28. The course tutors are Liisi Eesmaa (fashion designer) and Flo Kasearu (artist).
