Taidegrafiikan tapa olla – materiality, collaboration and agency

The exhibition The Way of Art Graphics is – materiality, Collaboration and agency examines the nature and themes of art graphics, which are seen as new, central and topical from an art perspective.
With the new materiality, the issues to be addressed slide from the field of one’s own field of art into more general, ethical and ecological themes, and again into the medium’s own materiality. What does it mean that the material becomes both a subject and an actor alongside the artist?
Collaboration is brought to the exhibition in various ways through current examples.
The artists in the exhibition are alumni and students of the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of the Arts Helsinki.
