Vano Allsalu's exhibition "Order of Chaos" presents a cross-section of acrylic paintings created in the last decade. This is the first solo exhibition of a renowned painter who has entered our art field in the 1990s in Pärnu.

Vano Allsalu’s works with a versatile and powerful color language, mainly considered abstract, also touch on figurativeness. The range of themes in Allsalu’s work has ranged from natural elements to mythological constructions and states of mind, touching both intimately with the personal and interpretations of what is happening in the cultural and social field.

For the artist, the connections between the mental fabric, the visual and the verbal, which are the basis of the visible pictorial structure, are important, as well as the emergence of meaning at the boundaries of the abstract and the pictorial. The exhibition also raises questions about the artist’s handwriting and figurative language as a certain structure, which in its variability may turn out to be the opposite – a systemic element, a chaotic pattern, (self) ironic (self) admiration. A collection of visual elements, organized by their own “raft wisdom”.
